Join us for a Mass Canvass on 9/2 in place of our general meeting. To win safe, stable, and affordable housing for Portland Tenants we need to build enough people power to force the city council to pass the tenants agenda. The first Wednesday of September we are going to talk with hundreds of tenants who share our vision for a livable Portland and ask them to take action with us.

This September we are flooding the city council meeting to demand they start implementing the tenants agenda by 1) passing a resolution that directs city staff to take specific actions that will help lower the rent and 2) starting the process of updating the Rent Control Ordinance to stop landlord corruption and guarantee safe and stable housing.

To succeed, we need to turn out hundreds of tenants to the city council meeting in September. That is only going to happen if we ask our neighbors to join.
