Join us for a phone banking party on 8/19! Nearly 1000 people have signed up to support the Portland Tenants Union. It's time to call on them to take action with us! You'll eat snacks, get to know fellow tenants union members, and help us turn out supporters to join us at a critical city council meeting.

This September we are flooding the city council meeting to demand they start implementing the tenants agenda by 1) passing a resolution that directs city staff to take specific actions that will help lower the rent and 2) starting the process of updating the Rent Control Ordinance to stop landlord corruption and guarantee safe and stable housing.

To succeed, we need to turn out hundreds of tenants to the city council meeting in September. That is only going to happen if we ask our supporters to join us. To do that we need you to help us call and text them!
